SDF Systems is looking for an experienced developer to build custom WordPress themes and plugins, turning Figma designs into responsive, fast, and secure websites. Contract, fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- ▹Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites
- ▹Build custom themes and plugins
- ▹Convert Figma/Adobe XD/PSD designs into responsive websites
- ▹Customize existing themes per WordPress coding standards
- ▹Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, and payment gateways
- ▹Troubleshoot issues, apply security updates, optimize performance
- ▹Manage backups, migrations, staging, and deployments
Requirements
- ▹3+ years professional WordPress development experience
- ▹PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- ▹Experience building custom themes and plugins
- ▹Knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, REST API, Gutenberg
- ▹ACF, custom post types and taxonomies
- ▹Elementor, WPBakery or similar page builders
- ▹WooCommerce customization
- ▹Git version control
