Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead backend development of the application, aligned with product requirements
• ▹Provide regular updates on progress to product managers and designers
• ▹Partner with PMs and designers during project kick-offs to understand vision and user needs
• ▹Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to determine required APIs and functionality
• ▹Produce well-tested, reliable code, including unit and end-to-end tests
• ▹Devise rollout strategies for new features and monitor performance and feedback

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, leading projects end-to-end to launch
• ▹Proficiency in Java development technologies (Spring framework), microservices, message queues, alerting, reliability, and feature flags
• ▹Understanding of development design patterns, including REST API design principles
• ▹Hands-on experience with testing approaches and libraries (unit, integration testing)
• ▹Fluent in English
