SAP Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Own SAP integration projects end-to-end, from PoC through production go-live
• ▹Design scalable integration architecture using SAP BTP, OData/REST/SOAP APIs and middleware layers
• ▹Build and configure integration flows (iFlows, API connectors, data transformations)
• ▹Navigate enterprise SAP constraints including strict security policies and authorization models (SAP IAS, OAuth2)
• ▹Partner deeply with customer SAP engineers and SAP's own technical teams
• ▹Support system integrators and SAP partners in delivering Parloa-SAP integrations independently
• ▹Translate recurring field experience into standardized approaches, accelerators and playbooks
• ▹Provide structured product feedback to Product and Engineering

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of professional experience in SAP integration engineering, SAP BTP development, or SAP technical consulting
• ▹Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite (formerly CPI): iFlows, API proxies, event-based integrations
• ▹Solid understanding of SAP data models and APIs (S/4HANA, ECC, Service Cloud, or CRM)
• ▹Proficiency with integration protocols: OData (v2/v4), REST, SOAP, OAuth2, SAP IAS/XSUAA
• ▹Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high-responsibility customer environments
• ▹Clear communication with both SAP-native engineers and non-technical business stakeholders
• ▹Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
• ▹Fluency in English required (German is a plus)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with conversational AI, contact center platforms, or CX technology in an SAP context
• ▹Familiarity with SAP AI Core, SAP Agent Builder, or similar AI extensions
• ▹Experience working with or for SAP system integrators in delivery or presales engineering
