Responsibilities

• ▹Work with the project manager to achieve project objectives, managing the engineering portion of projects
• ▹Ensure designs and practices implement safety, quality and values
• ▹Prepare detailed technical specifications for large marine and naval power systems
• ▹Develop detailed engineering plans and oversee project engineering execution
• ▹Drive communications throughout the organization to align schedule and technical risk
• ▹Maintain ownership of engineering artifacts (power and propulsion system model, power system studies, drawings, bill of materials, specifications, test and commissioning procedures)
• ▹Ensure projects are completed within schedule and budget

GE Vernova's Power Conversion & Storage division provides electrical power conversion systems for various naval and marine applications, typically MV/LV power converters, motors, transformers and switchgear.
