Responsibilities

• ▹Contributing to operationalising the Data Governance Framework, turning actionable policies, processes, procedures, and standards into executed, evidenced activity in Alation
• ▹Evaluating opportunities and making recommendations for embedding Data Governance practices within IT teams and across the organisation
• ▹Using Alation to tag and classify Data Products and Assets (including sensitivity, criticality, ownership, domain, jurisdiction, and regulatory context), ensuring consistency with Pepperstone's data classification, privacy, and retention standards
• ▹Curating and maintaining the Enterprise Business Glossary, lineage, and stewardship workflows in Alation
• ▹Driving adoption of governance practices and tooling across Data Stewards, engineering teams, and business stakeholders
• ▹Operationalising the Data Quality Framework by designing, authoring, and maintaining semantic Data Quality tests in Alation
• ▹Scheduling, configuring, and tuning DQ test execution and reporting in Alation, including run cadence, thresholds, alerting, and stakeholder-facing DQ reports and dashboards
• ▹Maintaining a clear view of open DQ issues, their business impact, root cause, and remediation status, and reporting on trends to the Data Governance & Enablement team
