Medior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Own testing for assigned features, from requirements through release
• ▹Design and execute functional, exploratory, integration and regression tests
• ▹Perform API testing and validate data using SQL
• ▹Investigate issues using logs and diagnostic information
• ▹Identify regression scenarios and opportunities for automation
• ▹Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads and Automation QA Engineers
• ▹Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage and Continuous Delivery practices
• ▹Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning and refinement

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of QA/testing experience, ideally with web applications
• ▹Hands-on API testing experience using Postman or similar tools
• ▹Practical SQL skills and experience analysing logs
• ▹Understanding of testing methodologies such as TDD/BDD
• ▹Experience with Agile and Continuous Delivery practices
• ▹Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• ▹Ability to work effectively with remote and global teams

Nice to have

• ▹Financial services or payments testing experience
