OT Business Application Engineer (MES-Serialization, Remote, English, Slovenian)

Responsibilities

• ▹Review and update SDLC documentation for automation systems (RS, SDS, HDS, protocols, etc.)
• ▹Disaster recovery planning and testing for OT systems
• ▹Join the daily support rota for the support services department, with out-of-hours on-call application support when required
• ▹Periodic reporting of tasks completed and support provided
• ▹Drive improvements and innovations across shopfloor applications, engaging with client teams on a regular basis
• ▹MES: operational support, maintenance and monitoring; first line support for end users and technical service departments; periodic performance review in line with defined system procedures; recipe updates; assist in project implementations and provide operational feedback to project teams; act as coordinator site representative in hardware or application vendor/supplier support
• ▹Data historian: operational support, maintenance and monitoring; first line support; periodic performance review; troubleshooting of data acquisition interfaces; provide on-demand data reports facilitating quality investigations or PAT requests; assist in project implementations; act as coordinator site representative in vendor/supplier support
• ▹Serialization systems: operational support, maintenance and monitoring; first line support; periodic performance review; troubleshooting of vision system performance; provide on-demand data reports facilitating quality investigations or PAT requests; assist in project implementations; act as coordinator site representative in vendor/supplier support
• ▹Business applications: operational support, maintenance and monitoring; first line support for end users, acting as a super user; application administration and ownership; periodic performance review in line with site-defined procedures; lead person in SDLC documentation such as HDS, URS, FRS; act as coordinator site representative in vendor/supplier support

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• ▹Experience in a cGMP environment is essential
• ▹MES/OSI-PI or general process control knowledge is essential
• ▹Deep understanding of serialization and understanding of manufacturing processes
• ▹Good knowledge of process data interfaces such as OPC DA, A&E, UA, Modbus
• ▹Good knowledge of MS Office tools usage and automation
• ▹Knowledge of PLC/SCADA, hardware and networking
• ▹Understanding of IT security/cybersecurity
• ▹Ability to prioritize the criticality of support issues as they arise and act accordingly
• ▹Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• ▹Excellent communication and reporting attitude
• ▹Ability to handle and operate efficiently under pressure
• ▹Fluency in Slovenian and English
• ▹Candidates must be able to present a criminal record (not older than 3 months)
