Staff/Lead Python Engineer (FastAPI, Orchestration)

Responsibilities

• ▹Write Python applications that are resilient, robust, and integrate well with other apps in a service architecture
• ▹Further Developer Experience (DevEx) by mentoring others in writing code that is intuitive, clear, and easy to test
• ▹Develop observability for new and existing ML applications and GenAI/LLM integrations using the Grafana Stack (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo)
• ▹Develop integrations and services that communicate with Google Services
• ▹Work closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers throughout the lifecycle of productionizing their models
• ▹Be responsive to incidents regarding ML applications, including triage and resolution

Requirements

• ▹Lead/Staff-level engineering experience
• ▹Ability to shape technical direction, architecture, processes, and culture within the Python Chapter
• ▹Ability to level up the team and Chapter's development practices
