Requirements

• ▹Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
• ▹Undergraduate degree in a technical subject, or a compelling narrative about an alternative chosen path
• ▹Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results
• ▹Experience with software development in a high-level language such as Golang, Python, Java
• ▹Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
• ▹Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments

Nice to have

• ▹Performance engineering and SRE experience
• ▹Experience with data governance, data engineering, or data science

About the company

Canonical's Commercial Systems unit is made up of six engineering teams; the Data Governance team enables secure, well-governed access to data using open-source tools such as Trino and Ranger, and the Integrations team automates SaaS user management and onboarding of new data sources into the data mesh.
