Postdoctoral Researcher in Machine Learning

Responsibilities

• ▹Research on foundational models and machine learning methods, focused on medical applications
• ▹Extracting knowledge from large-scale ECG datasets, and possibly related data
• ▹Investigating the use of these models for decision support, including work on decision algorithms
• ▹Collaboration with colleagues at the Faculty of Medicine and partners in Brazil
• ▹Optional teaching, up to 20% of working time

Requirements

• ▹PhD in machine learning, control theory, signal processing, computationally intensive statistics or a related field
• ▹Strong interest in and experience developing new machine learning methods
• ▹Deep learning experience on large datasets
• ▹Excellent spoken and written technical communication in English
• ▹Good programming skills, preferably in Python

• ▹Publications at leading machine learning conferences
• ▹Interdisciplinary research experience
• ▹Creative, meticulous, structured approach to problem-solving
