• ▹Be a trusted thought partner to Music and DRM leadership, bringing structured thinking to high-stakes questions
• ▹Build the business cases that move decisions forward, putting numbers behind contract terms and rate changes
• ▹See around corners — bring data-driven insight into music investments and customer segment usage patterns
• ▹Connect platform data with external data to explain metric shifts and find growth opportunities
• ▹Make data trustworthy for agentic analytics — enrich context and metadata, ship fixes with AI coding tools
• ▹Uphold analytical rigour as self-serve expands, pushing back on false precision

Requirements

• ▹Senior-level influence, real business impact shaping leadership decisions
• ▹High agency, driving decisions through tailored communication and data storytelling
• ▹Sharp analytical instincts, hypothesis-driven approach
• ▹Sound judgement about data and statistics
• ▹Technical versatility: SQL, Python (Hex), dbt (BigQuery), AI coding tools
• ▹Platform curiosity — no prior rights-management experience required, but genuine curiosity to learn

Nice to have

• ▹Experience combining data across platforms to explain shifts in user behaviour
• ▹Data modelling know-how and experience with semantic layers
• ▹Track record validating and refining metrics in a data-mature environment, building business cases into real investment
