Technician / First Line Support – 100% Remote

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Act as the customer's first point of contact via phone, email and live chat
• ▹Troubleshoot websites with issues, often involving WordPress, PHP errors and SSL certificates
• ▹Migrate customers from other providers (websites, email, domains)
• ▹Help customers with email issues, accounts, clients, delivery problems
• ▹Troubleshoot domain and DNS issues, pointing, zone files, propagation
• ▹Help internet customers with basic connectivity troubleshooting
• ▹Escalate the right issues to second line, and learn from them along the way

Requirements

• ▹Understands what a DNS zone is, and the difference between A, MX and CNAME records
• ▹Has hands-on experience with WordPress, themes, plugins, maybe a broken site or two
• ▹Understands how email works under the hood, not just that it does not work
• ▹Genuinely technically curious, testing things before giving up
• ▹Fluent written and spoken Swedish, enjoys customer contact

Nice to have

• ▹Experience from web hosting, an ISP or another support environment
• ▹Basic knowledge of Linux and the terminal
• ▹Knowledge of cPanel/DirectAdmin-like control panels
