DevOps Engineer – Player Account Management

DevOps / SRE • On-site • Full-time Hungary Budapest, Hungary

DevOps Engineer role within Betsson Group's Player Account Management platform team, building CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and observability practices for account creation, authentication and Responsible Gaming systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable smooth, fast, and reliable delivery of platform services
  • Embed observability, automation, and reliability practices early in the development lifecycle
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes manifests
  • Collaborate closely with central DevOps and Infrastructure teams to align on shared standards and tooling
  • Extend and tailor monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery frameworks to meet each platform's needs
  • Participate in architecture and code reviews
  • Identify and resolve deployment bottlenecks and performance issues
  • Support environment standardization, migration efforts, and capacity planning
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD tooling, focused on GitHub Actions and TeamCity/Octopus pipelines

Requirements

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or Octopus
  • Managing containerized applications and Kubernetes workloads in production
  • Applying IaC principles with Terraform, Helm, or Kustomize
  • Enhancing system observability and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
  • Partnering with developers and QA to integrate DevOps best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Automating operational tasks — testing, deployments, environment setup, and incident response
  • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure or deployment issues
  • Maintaining a security-first mindset across pipelines, infrastructure, and deployments
  • Continuously optimizing build performance, cloud costs, and runtime efficiency
  • Communicating effectively across teams and advocating for shared ownership of reliability
