IT Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-up and ticketed IT support across Linux, Windows, and Mac.
• ▹Provide hands-on hardware diagnostics, system provisioning, and patch management.
• ▹Own issues from intake through resolution, collaborating with other IT teams as needed.
• ▹Manage the full employee technology lifecycle: onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
• ▹Administer and improve Okta for identity and access management (SSO, MFA, provisioning, automation).
• ▹Ensure devices are properly enrolled in JumpCloud throughout the employee lifecycle.
• ▹Wipe, reimage, and prepare returned devices for redeployment; coordinate warranty repairs.
• ▹Manage the full equipment request lifecycle: intake, approval, purchasing, provisioning, tracking.
• ▹Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and monitor stock levels.
• ▹Proactively maintain and troubleshoot conference room and meeting space technology.
• ▹Be a visible, responsive IT presence across shared workspaces and meeting rooms.
• ▹Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

• ▹Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• ▹2+ years supporting employees in a fast-paced office environment.
• ▹Hands-on experience supporting Linux, Windows, and Mac environments.
• ▹Experience with day-to-day Okta administration.
• ▹Experience with JumpCloud or similar MDM/device management tooling.
• ▹Comfortable troubleshooting AV and meeting room technology.
• ▹Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• ▹Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• ▹Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with non-technical staff.

Nice to have

• ▹FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days (required for certain positions).
