Responsibilities

• ▹Define and design architectures based on the Java ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs) in private and public cloud environments
• ▹Design microservices-based, distributed, event-driven and cloud-native solutions
• ▹Evaluate and adopt new technology trends (AI, automation, observability, platform engineering) when they provide a competitive advantage
• ▹Define methodologies and synchronization strategies for platform and application modernization
• ▹Identify opportunities to apply AI capabilities and advanced analytics within proposed solutions
• ▹Provide technical leadership on project execution, applying market-aligned standards and good practices
• ▹Act as a technology reference point for the client, participating in technical workshops and defining the technology roadmap
• ▹Prepare technical proposals, estimates and design documents (HLD/LLD)
• ▹Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization and Kubernetes-based deployment strategies
• ▹Identify technical risks and define mitigation plans

Requirements

• ▹Higher education degree (computer science, telecommunications or similar)
• ▹At least 5 years of experience as a Software Architect or Tech Lead
• ▹At least 8 years of software development experience in the Java ecosystem (Spring Boot/Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs, microservices architectures)
• ▹Knowledge of architectural patterns (DDD, Clean, Hexagonal)
• ▹Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• ▹Experience with integration solutions (API management, events, queues)
• ▹Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
• ▹Security knowledge (OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak)
• ▹Experience modernizing applications and platforms
• ▹Experience leading teams technically
• ▹Experience working in agile teams

Nice to have

• ▹Cloud or Java certifications
