Platform Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Ensure stable operation and further development of platforms and applications in customer environments
• ▹Work according to DevOps and GitOps principles, actively contributing to continuous improvement of operational processes
• ▹Handle incident management tasks and ensure smooth operations together with the team
• ▹Automate recurring tasks and processes, e.g. using Ansible or Terraform
• ▹Administer and operate Linux and Windows systems as well as web applications
• ▹Work closely with development teams and other stakeholders
• ▹Actively participate in agile working methods (e.g. Scrum)

Requirements

• ▹Completed IT vocational training/degree, or equivalent qualification
• ▹2-5 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, ideally covering several of: administration and operation of Linux and Windows system landscapes; operation, administration or development of web applications; operation and continuous development of platforms following DevOps and GitOps principles; automation of infrastructure and processes (e.g. Ansible and/or Terraform); use and operation of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure
• ▹Hands-on experience in incident management
• ▹Knowledge of ITIL processes, ideally with practical application
• ▹Structured, solution-oriented way of working and team spirit
• ▹Very good written and spoken German (minimum C1 level)
