Enterprise Architect

Enterprise Architect to help shape thyssenkrupp's IT landscape and strengthen the link between business strategy and technology decisions. The role creates transparency across applications and technologies, advises business functions on effective IT solutions and builds the foundations of a mature enterprise architecture practice.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • Drive application portfolio management by creating transparency on applications, ownership, lifecycle status, costs, risks and dependencies, and identify opportunities for consolidation, modernization, standardization and decommissioning
  • Support technology portfolio management by assessing platforms, technologies, standards and lifecycle risks, and help define target technologies, architecture principles and roadmaps for future investment decisions
  • Consult business functions on efficient, scalable and future-ready IT solutions, translating business needs into architecture options while balancing value, cost, risk and technical feasibility
  • Help build enterprise architecture foundations including governance processes, architecture repositories, tools, documentation standards and reporting structures
  • Promote consistent architecture practices across business domains and IT initiatives
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, solution architects and delivery teams to reduce complexity

Requirements

  • Degree in IT, Business Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, IT strategy, application management or technology consulting
  • Understanding of application landscapes, technology platforms, integration patterns, data flows and IT operating models
  • Ability to communicate in English

Nice to have

  • Experience in application portfolio management, technology lifecycle management or architecture governance
  • Familiarity with frameworks, methods or tools such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, LeanIX, Ardoq, ServiceNow APM or similar
