Enterprise Architect for AI Cloud Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and automate the network platform (switches, firewalls, routers, border gateways) of the Industrial AI Cloud core environment
• ▹Coordinate and support network lifecycle activities (installs, upgrades, changes, firmware updates) and manage network interconnections and related documentation, together with the Data Center, IaaS and PaaS layers
• ▹Provision and maintain InfiniBand switches according to ITIL standards
• ▹Develop and maintain automation scripts to orchestrate the overall scope, with fine tuning and configuration changes throughout the project lifetime
• ▹Maintain network-based environments, apply patches and manage firmware upgrades at scale
• ▹Implement and fine-tune monitoring and observability, and deploy additional components if necessary
• ▹Follow and improve incident, problem and change management workflows, document runbooks and standard operating procedures, and adhere to ZERO Outage guidelines
• ▹Work closely with Platform Engineers and AI solution teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations
• ▹Manage a unified high-speed network fabric using both InfiniBand and Ethernet/RoCE
• ▹Build concepts, processes and methods for automation, optimization and standardization
• ▹Provide advice on technical aspects of products to employees or customers, on request or on own initiative
• ▹Mentor and train co-workers
• ▹Act as key technical lead and coordinate activities across related technologies outside your own team
• ▹Define designs that enable automated configuration management, release management, build, test and deployment activities, with tailor-made customer solutions and consultancy

Requirements

• ▹Hands-on experience in network installation, maintenance and operations
• ▹Knowledge of InfiniBand architecture, RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), and low-latency, high-throughput networking for AI/HPC workloads
• ▹Knowledge of data center routing and border gateway protocols, including Cisco or Juniper routers (e.g. CR-8608, PTX10004) and BGP/OSPF routing, ASNs, IP transit, peering and failover connectivity
• ▹Solid Linux skills
• ▹Skilled in continuous monitoring, incident detection and root-cause analysis for large-scale data center networks
• ▹Experience with firewalls and security
• ▹Hands-on experience in configuration and lifecycle management, including switch provisioning, firmware/OS upgrades, patch management and configuration backups
• ▹5+ years of experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
• ▹Scripting experience in Python/Bash
• ▹Effective use of automation tools (Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Helm) for deployments
• ▹Proficient in automation using Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
• ▹Practical experience with Linux operating systems
• ▹Understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) principles
• ▹Use of monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• ▹English at B2 level
