Software Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality software (requirements, design, code, documentation)
• ▹Maintain documentation describing logic, configuration, testing, and changes
• ▹Continuously improve existing products, systems, and services
• ▹Regularly update software to address customer and company concerns
• ▹Code software changes and fixes based on design specifications
• ▹Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance
• ▹Develop systems providing access to historical market data and trading simulations
• ▹Build risk-management and performance-tracking tools
• ▹Ensure software security by monitoring the sharing of private information
• ▹Contribute to quality activities including peer reviews and bug resolution across QA/pre-production/production
• ▹Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch
• ▹Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced developers
• ▹Support the training and development of team members

Requirements

• ▹5-8 years professional or other practical experience
• ▹Proficient in one or more relevant programming languages, frameworks, and databases
• ▹Backend: C#, Java
• ▹Frontend: HTML, JavaScript, Angular and React
• ▹Framework: .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6+
• ▹Database: SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle
• ▹Web services (RESTful or WCF)
• ▹Entity Framework and Dapper
• ▹Unit and integration testing
• ▹Tools: Git, Visual Studio 2019 or later
• ▹Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
• ▹Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
• ▹Proven experience using Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• ▹Knowledge of Microservices, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Domain-Driven Design
