Partner Solutions Architect (GSI) - AMER West

Responsibilities

• ▹Ensure successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources
• ▹Participate in periodic joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and Partner technical teams
• ▹Support Partner technical initiatives such as end-customer demonstrations, proofs of value, enablement workshops, and coaching on best practices
• ▹Advocate on behalf of Partners' technical concerns (use cases, feature requests, support issues) with Datadog internal teams, helping resolve them
• ▹Analyze Partner service offerings regularly and recommend enhancements through greater Datadog feature adoption
• ▹Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify and prioritize new features
• ▹Continuously curate and evolve best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success

Requirements

• ▹Solid technical grounding with hands-on IT Development and/or Operations experience
• ▹10-15 years of experience in a customer- or partner-facing technical role
• ▹Self-starter, tech-savvy professional with solid business acumen and confident presentation skills
• ▹Hands-on experience in two or more of: Observability (Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace), Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry), Dev/Scripting (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Go), Config Management (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef), CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab)

Nice to have

• ▹Previous experience in a technical role for or supporting channel partners (Systems Integrators, Managed Services Providers)
• ▹Previous experience using Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools (APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, NPM)
• ▹Previous experience with root-cause-analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging
