Responsibilities

• ▹Identify, scope, and lead large technical projects that lay the groundwork for scalable products
• ▹Design, develop, and own new product functionality and infrastructure using modern tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
• ▹Make effective tradeoffs balancing business priorities, user experience, and sustainable technical foundations
• ▹Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new engineers in the UK and/or Ireland
• ▹Act as a cultural beacon and mentor junior team members

Requirements

• ▹At least 10 years of industry experience as a software engineer
• ▹Technical lead experience on large (6+ month) projects spanning multiple teams and functions
• ▹Built successful SaaS products for both startup and enterprise users
• ▹Previous startup experience or a bias-for-action environment
• ▹Track record of upleveling engineering teams through mentoring
• ▹Experience at rapidly scaling startups and large companies

• ▹Openness to using AI tools to amplify skills and efficiency
