Senior AI/ML Architect, Applied Field Engineering/Field CTO

Responsibilities

• ▹Position Snowflake's AI/ML features and value to technical stakeholders across APJ
• ▹Partner with account teams and customer champions to drive successful POCs and technical wins
• ▹Collaborate with product and engineering to influence Snowflake's AI/ML roadmap based on customer feedback
• ▹Publish content such as blog posts, conference talks, notebooks and demos
• ▹Maintain Sales Engineering AI/ML selling assets
• ▹Help customers across APJ adopt AI/ML use cases on Snowflake

Requirements

• ▹10+ years building and deploying machine learning, 3+ years building generative AI solutions in the cloud
• ▹Hands-on experience with MLOps, Feature Store, model deployment, explainability, and observability
• ▹Familiarity with generative AI techniques (RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, fine-tuning)
• ▹Deep knowledge of Python and ML packages (LangChain, pandas, sklearn, PyTorch) and data engineering tools (dbt, Airflow, Spark)
• ▹Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
• ▹Bachelor's degree required, Master's in CS/engineering/mathematics preferred

Nice to have

• ▹Working knowledge of LLM ecosystem tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex, other OSS packages)
• ▹Experience with large-scale IaaS platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• ▹1+ years of practical Snowflake experience
• ▹Knowledge of large-scale database technology (Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum)
• ▹Experience in quota-carrying roles
