Responsibilities

• ▹Accurately detect suspicious user behaviours while minimising impact on genuine customers
• ▹Adapt quickly to changing fraud and financial crime trends
• ▹Work with stakeholders to identify the most impactful ML opportunities against financial crime
• ▹Lead design and development of advanced real-time ML models (neural network, graph-based, sequence-based)
• ▹Provide technical leadership across the Machine Learning discipline, mentoring others
• ▹Partner with MLOps on tooling for rapid model iteration

Requirements

• ▹Multiple years of excellence leading development and deployment of advanced ML models for real business problems
• ▹Experience shipping deep learning, graph-based or sequence-based ML architectures to production
• ▹Impact-driven, owning the end-to-end journey from problem to production
• ▹Extensive production Python experience and strong SQL, willingness to learn Go
• ▹Product mindset caring about customer outcomes and data-informed decisions
• ▹Comfortable working with ambiguity

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with financial crime and regulated institutions
• ▹Commercial experience with critical production code and microservices
