Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using TypeScript
• ▹Write and maintain automated UI, API, E2E and integration tests
• ▹Collaborate with developers to write testable code and integrate tests early in the development lifecycle
• ▹Participate in code reviews and design reviews, and contribute to testability and quality improvements
• ▹Continuously improve test coverage, reliability and performance of automation
• ▹Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI or similar
• ▹Investigate test failures, triage bugs and identify root causes of defects
• ▹Contribute to testing strategies, QA best practices and documentation

Requirements

• ▹Experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer
• ▹Strong proficiency in TypeScript and the overall JavaScript ecosystem
• ▹Experience with test automation tools
• ▹Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
• ▹Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• ▹Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ▹Excellent communication and collaboration skills
