
Principal Partner Solutions Engineer, SAARC (Based in Bangalore)
Cloudflare is hiring a Principal Partner Solutions Engineer for the SAARC region, owning the end-to-end technical lifecycle of assigned partners from pre-sales validation through post-sales service delivery, focused on driving adoption of Cloudflare One (SASE/SSE) and AI infrastructure (Workers AI/AI Gateway).
Responsibilities
- ▹Owning the technical relationship with Partners, aligning on joint GTM strategies, and building partner technical capabilities for independent, scalable selling.
- ▹Owning and driving the end-to-end Technical Account Plan (TAP) for assigned strategic partners, mapping business goals to technical milestones.
- ▹Identifying and cultivating technical "Champions" within partner organizations to scale expertise independently and generate Partner-Influenced Opportunities (PIO).
- ▹Collaborating with sales teams to source and expand PIO through strategic architectural alignment, migrating legacy architectures to CF1 and integrating secure AI solutions.
- ▹Enabling partners' technical validation, PoCs, demos, and pipeline generation; identifying joint pursuit accounts and delivering solution architecture sessions.
- ▹Owning the ASD (Accelerate Services Delivery) partner journey so partners can independently deploy, manage, and support the Cloudflare platform and AI workloads.
- ▹Building joint services catalogues with partners (managed CF1 SASE practices, AI security assessments) and tracking KPIs to measure delivery effectiveness.
- ▹Acting as the escalated technical point of contact ensuring long-term architectural health via telemetry and proactive design.
- ▹Championing autonomous AI tools (e.g. Agent PAT, Agent Echo) to automate repeatable technical tasks.
- ▹Participating in the Partner Technical Advisory Council (PTAC): early access to beta software, capturing product feedback, driving co-innovation on CF1 and AI features.
Requirements
- ▹8+ years of technical, partner-facing experience (e.g., Systems Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager) in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or networking.
- ▹Strong technical depth in Cloudflare One (CF1) or equivalent SASE/SSE architectures, Zero Trust, DNS, and application security, alongside hands-on familiarity with AI deployment, AI Gateway, LLM orchestration frameworks, or vector databases.
- ▹Proven track record developing technical talent or building "champion" programs within partner organizations.
- ▹Enterprise architecture & project management: deep understanding of enterprise IT and multi/hybrid cloud environments.
- ▹Demonstrated ability to manage the technical lifecycle of a deal from pre-sales discovery through post-sale service delivery.
- ▹Strong communication skills presenting complex CF1 architectures and AI-driven use cases to partner leadership and technical teams.
- ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
