Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and get faster customer feedback
• ▹Optimize existing functionality (e.g. faster loading, smarter parsing) by designing more efficient abstractions and algorithms
• ▹Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin

Requirements

• ▹Systems thinking: you know optimization requires end-to-end design and value simplicity
• ▹Speed: you generate ideas quickly and know what can ship now versus what needs time
• ▹Focus: you know when to engage and when to go heads-down in a busy remote team
• ▹Collaboration skills with opinionated designers, marketers, and PMs
• ▹Preferred tech stack: Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience acceptable)

Nice to have

• ▹Prior experience with GCP
