SCADA Engineer – Photovoltaic Power Plants

Responsibilities

• ▹Implement, configure and test SCADA systems for large-scale PV plants
• ▹Help select suitable SCADA and PPC systems
• ▹Configure, commission and validate the Power Plant Controller (PPC)
• ▹Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical system concepts
• ▹Integrate and parametrize field devices (inverters, weather stations, meters, protection devices)
• ▹Support FAT/SAT testing and remote troubleshooting

Requirements

• ▹Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation or computer science
• ▹Relevant experience in SCADA, automation or control systems
• ▹Knowledge of common communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104, OPC UA)
• ▹Excellent German language skills (ideally native level)
• ▹Class B driving license

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with power plant controllers or strong willingness to build expertise
• ▹Structured, independent working style with enthusiasm for complex technical systems
