Compliance Engineer, Regulatory Deployment EMEA

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage regulatory deployment requirements for charging products across EMEA
• ▹Proactively develop product and market regulatory literature for new product introductions
• ▹Support authorities with onsite/offsite calibrations, certifications and audits
• ▹Develop compliance processes and strategies to sustain regulatory collaboration
• ▹Collaborate with engineering, production and deployment teams on EVSE acceptance, and run trainings
• ▹Identify regulatory KPIs and improve permitting and inspection rates

Requirements

• ▹Relevant degree (engineering, business administration, etc.) or apprenticeship with 3+ years in engineering or compliance
• ▹Deep understanding of key EU Directives for EVSE and country-specific regulations
• ▹Experience with harmonized standards and conformity assessment procedures (metering, safety, EMC, CE/UKCA marking)
• ▹Ability to apply electrical, mechanical and software engineering principles with strong technical writing skills
• ▹Proficiency managing compliance projects and audits, using tools like MS Office and Jira
• ▹Exceptional communication skills with internal teams and external authorities
• ▹Willingness to travel frequently across EMEA
