Engineering Manager - Software Development

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead a team of 15-20 people
• ▹Ensure quality standards and increase customer satisfaction
• ▹Allocate the daily workload optimally
• ▹Ensure the continuous development, training and coaching of team members
• ▹Participate in selecting new staff and training new recruits
• ▹Manage employee performance to meet productivity goals
• ▹Review employee performance reports to identify areas for improvement
• ▹Drive continuous improvement of operations to meet annual KPI and SLA targets
• ▹Initiate SCRUM-based process development
• ▹Manage and resolve critical situations through effective communication
• ▹Work daily with the HR department and other partner departments

Requirements

• ▹At least 4 years of experience in software development projects, application management or an agile environment
• ▹At least 2 years of experience in people management
• ▹Deep understanding of Agile, SCRUM and Kanban
• ▹Experience in a fast-paced environment
• ▹Superior organizational skills
• ▹Excellent English skills
• ▹Excellent communication skills
• ▹Self-starter, proactive and analytical mindset
• ▹Flexibility regarding new tasks and change management
• ▹Open-mindedness and good understanding of new IT solutions
• ▹Willingness to travel occasionally for business
