As a Senior Product Manager at Elastic, you will lead critical areas of self-service cloud growth, empowering self-service customers and trial users to succeed. The role focuses specifically on human user and agent onboarding, directly influencing the growth of Elastic Cloud. You will own the vision and roadmap and work closely with engineering, downstream solution teams, and Sales & Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Define the vision and roadmap for self-service cloud growth, covering onboarding and trial experience, feature adoption, and trial activation
  • ▹Run customer interviews and churn analysis, and manage product engagement analytics and email nurturing
  • ▹Partner with engineering leads to prioritize technical investments and set realistic delivery timelines
  • ▹Collaborate with downstream Elastic solution teams (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) on their onboarding flows and trial experience
  • ▹Drive technical decision-making on onboarding, activation, expansion, and retention of self-service customers
  • ▹Interface with customers and trial users to gather feedback on the trial experience
  • ▹Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on competitive positioning and brand awareness
  • ▹Drive native integrations with third-party developer platforms

Requirements

  • ▹4+ years of Product Management experience with deep technical products
  • ▹Strong background and experience with Product Led Growth (PLG)
  • ▹Demonstrated experience with self-service cloud services, having shipped products that provide self-service trials
  • ▹Data-driven approach to product decisions, with experience in product adoption and analysis
  • ▹Experience working with globally distributed teams and asynchronous collaboration

Nice to have

  • ▹Direct experience with Elasticsearch or similar search/database technologies
  • ▹Background in product marketing
  • ▹Experience with cloud service provider marketplaces
