Responsibilities

• ▹Administering and operating server, virtualization and cloud infrastructure
• ▹Installing, configuring, maintaining and monitoring physical and virtual systems (Windows Server, Linux Server, VMware, Azure)
• ▹Setting up, operating and optimizing the VMware vSphere environment and storage systems
• ▹Carrying out backup and restore processes and ensuring disaster recovery
• ▹Analyzing and resolving faults in the system and virtualization environment

Requirements

• ▹Completed IT vocational training (e.g. Fachinformatiker for system integration) or comparable qualification
• ▹Several years of experience as a systems engineer operating complex IT infrastructures
• ▹Very good knowledge of Windows server/clients, as well as Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory and standard tools (e.g. Veeam)
• ▹Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere) and administering server, storage and backup systems
• ▹Negotiation-level (at least C1) German and English skills
