Software Developer – Identity & Access Management (IAM) Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Consolidating heterogeneous identity providers (Active Directory, Entra ID, Auth0) into a unified architecture while clearly segmenting identity stores
• ▹Implementing standardized authentication flows (OIDC, SAML, OAuth 2.0) for B2E, B2B and B2C scenarios
• ▹Designing and implementing authorization models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC) for fine-grained access control
• ▹Centrally managing roles, permissions and policies across application boundaries
• ▹Defining and rolling out unified provisioning/deprovisioning processes across all identity silos, and establishing consistent password policies and MFA enforcement
• ▹Providing secure libraries and integration patterns for development teams, and offering technical consulting for connecting new services to the IAM platform
• ▹Implementing Zero Trust principles such as conditional access, just-in-time access and continuous authorization

Requirements

• ▹Degree or vocational training in IT, or a comparable qualification
• ▹Several years of experience developing and integrating IAM solutions in heterogeneous, global environments
• ▹Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT and claims-based authorization, as well as RBAC and ABAC models
• ▹Solid programming skills in at least one language (Java, C#/.NET, Python, Node.js/TypeScript)
• ▹Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi) and secrets management (Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault)
• ▹Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly, strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
• ▹Independent, responsible work style, high fault tolerance and problem-solving skills
• ▹Fluent German and business-level English
