Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Plan, administer and further develop the network architecture (LAN, WLAN, WAN, firewalls, routing and switching)
• ▹Implement, configure and operate network components (e.g. Cisco, HPE, Sophos)
• ▹Ensure the performance, scalability and security of the network infrastructure
• ▹Monitor network availability and analyze/resolve incidents in network operations
• ▹Create and maintain technical network documentation, continuously optimizing processes and standards

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree or vocational training in Information Technology
• ▹Several years of experience as a Network Engineer planning and operating complex network architectures
• ▹Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, and firewall/network security technologies
• ▹Experience with monitoring, diagnostic and ticketing tools
• ▹Negotiation-level (at least C1) German and English
