IT Consultant – Self-Service & ITSM

Responsibilities

• ▹Advise on implementing new services in the Dataport Self-Service Portal (DSSP)
• ▹Independently analyze and document existing processes at clients and business units
• ▹Structure requirements for new services and turn them into actionable concepts
• ▹Initiate internal processes and support their implementation
• ▹Support projects as a DSSP/ITSM subject-matter expert
• ▹Work with BMC ARS ITSM Suite, BMC Digital Marketplace, and the Dataport Change-Generator, factoring in incident, change, and quotation processes

Requirements

• ▹Degree in business informatics, business administration, or comparable, with relevant experience
• ▹Solid knowledge of BMC ARS ITSM Suite, BMC Digital Marketplace, and the Dataport Change-Generator
• ▹Understanding of the technical and structural strengths/weaknesses of ITSM solutions, plus user-consulting experience
• ▹Solid knowledge of the DSSP and reliable requirements-clarification methodology
• ▹Basic knowledge of project management and contract handling, plus Dataport's core processes (incident, change, quotation)
• ▹Connected, structured thinking and strong communication skills
