IT Object Leader - Surface Ship

Saab's Surface Ships business unit is looking for an IT Object Leader to be IT's voice in the pm3 governance model and the business's most important IT partner. The role combines IT Delivery Manager and Business Relationship Manager duties.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Own the IT-related part of the pm3 object plan and shape the roadmap together with the business side
  • ▹Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories, lead sprint planning and keep the backlog prioritised by business value
  • ▹Follow how AI, cloud services and new technology can change how ships are designed, built and followed up, and turn this into concrete initiatives
  • ▹Translate agile metrics into delivery dates and report delivery certainty, resources and risks to the steering group, CIO and business owners
  • ▹Together with Service Managers and IT Site Managers, ensure the right competence and capacity is in place
  • ▹Make sure IT prioritises what creates the most value for the business
  • ▹Work closely with the Business Object Leader, Head of Operational Development, Service Managers and those responsible for Architecture and Cybersecurity

Requirements

  • ▹Academic degree in for example computer science, systems science, or mechanical or electrical engineering
  • ▹Experience navigating between agile ways of working and traditional project management
  • ▹Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and workshops
  • ▹Pass the security clearance according to the applicable security protection regulations
  • ▹Project manager at heart, able to hold deliveries together at a high pace
  • ▹Technical curiosity about AI and cloud

Nice to have

  • ▹Experience from manufacturing industry with complex products and integrated business processes
