Alan is hiring an IT Operations Specialist to manage device security, SaaS platforms, identity and access, and the employee IT experience as the company scales internationally to over 700 employees across 5+ countries. The role is Paris-based, working from the Valmy office at least 3 days per week, and involves joining the IT on-call rotation while growing into autonomy and ownership over time. The position targets the B0-B1 level range and requires fluent French and English.
Responsibilities
- ▹Join the IT on-call rotation (helpdesk) and handle typical IT operations issues (equipment, SaaS access, account provisioning)
- ▹Own onboarding and offboarding workflows end-to-end
- ▹Contribute to build projects such as MDM improvements, compliance documentation, and self-service tooling
- ▹Contribute to device compliance improvements (MDM, EDR, FileVault) across all countries
- ▹Ship automation or self-service projects that measurably reduce IT toil
- ▹Lead low to medium complexity IT projects end-to-end
- ▹Mentor newer team members and reduce bus factor through documentation
Requirements
- ▹1-3 years of IT operations experience (or strong internship/student association background in a tech environment)
- ▹Device management (MDM, ideally Kandji, Jamf, or Intune), SaaS administration, basic identity and access management (Google Workspace, SSO)
- ▹macOS fluency and comfort troubleshooting macOS at scale, understanding of the Apple ecosystem (Apple Business Manager, DEP enrollment)
- ▹Operational reflexes: triage issues, communicate to users during incidents, escalate appropriately, with on-call or production support experience
- ▹Documentation mindset: writes clear, structured documentation
- ▹Learning velocity: picks up new tools and processes quickly
- ▹Fluent French and English

- ▹Experience with Kandji specifically
- ▹Exposure to security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- ▹Basic scripting ability (Python, Bash) or willingness to learn
- ▹Experience with SaaS vendor management and/or license administration
