Responsibilities

• ▹Develop detailed customer solution design and architecture and perform technical risk evaluation for the overall technical solution
• ▹Lead the technical implementation during the delivery phase
• ▹Present the offered solution design and architecture to the customer and verify and adapt it during realization
• ▹Liaise with the SI Engagement Architect, the regional team, Product Managers, Project Manager and 3rd party product manager to align customer requirements with available solutions
• ▹Provide senior-level solution consulting in the SSP portfolio (CSD/DRA) across multiple technologies (3G, 4G, 5G, cloud, enterprise) and act as a source of expertise for colleagues
• ▹Lead the identification and specification of complex solutions in complex customer environments
• ▹Check customer requirements and discuss with the Sales/Presales team for 4G/5G DRA
• ▹Support and manage installation, integration, acceptance testing, operations and maintenance, and ongoing modifications (including upgrades and configuration changes) of the CSD solution
• ▹Review technical requirements, prepare MOPs, LLD and HLD, technical management for the CSD solution
• ▹Quality and risk analysis and schedule management
• ▹Provide technical clarifications on CSD activities to the customer and other teams
• ▹Troubleshoot and fix call flow related issues

Requirements

• ▹Good knowledge of LTE and 5G networks and call flows
• ▹Solution design and implementation of core network elements for signalling (SCP, SEPP, BSF, CNDRA)
• ▹Experience in cloud and virtualization on VNF and CNF
• ▹Good understanding of VMware, OpenStack, Red Hat OCP and AWS cloud
• ▹Good experience with Unix/Linux commands
• ▹Deployment expertise in functional and serviceability areas with large-scale distributed systems
• ▹Good working knowledge of VoLTE/IMS, DRA, SCP, BSF, SEPP in 4G/5G core technologies
• ▹Good hands-on knowledge of Diameter/HTTP2 signalling, JSON, REST API, SCTP, TCP with core products such as load balancers, DRA, SLF
• ▹Good hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, VMware/OpenStack and with CSF assets and blueprints like BVNF/BCMT/BELK
• ▹Good knowledge of SIP, Diameter and the telecom domain (VoLTE, IMS)
• ▹Experience with cloud-ready, cloud-native, microservices and container architectures, DevOps
• ▹Ability to lead complex technical programs
• ▹Ability to discuss with customers for requirements gathering
• ▹Ability to create solution designs for SSP products (CSD), and to support solution deployment and solution architecture creation
• ▹Strong understanding of mobile networks (2G, 3G and 4G)
• ▹Advanced level in an operating system such as Linux or Solaris
• ▹Experience in network troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark
• ▹Experience in virtualization with VMware or OpenStack
• ▹Ability to work with both technical and management layers at the customer
• ▹Ability to work on automation initiatives
• ▹Ability to act as an individual contributor as well as a team player depending on project needs
• ▹Travel availability: 50% of the time, domestic or international
• ▹Good communication skills
