Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineer Automation (fixed-term, 24 months)

At the Frankfurt BioCampus you will operate the plant data information systems (BDIS) used in active-ingredient production, working in line with GMP guidelines. The role is a 24-month fixed-term position.
Responsibilities
- ▹Ensure GMP- and SOP-compliant capture, preparation, storage, evaluation and reporting of process data as an essential part of manufacturing documentation
- ▹Provide support for system problems and outages
- ▹Coordinate and carry out measures to resolve process and system faults, including organising internal and external service providers and suppliers
- ▹Support BDIS-related projects for implementing new requirements and migration projects (system hardware and software updates), including commissioning and installation and functional testing
- ▹Coordinate and carry out regular monitoring, maintenance and upkeep measures on the systems
- ▹Coordinate security activities for the plant data acquisition systems in relation to adjacent systems across the Sanofi network
- ▹Contribute expert knowledge to inspections and quality audits
Requirements
- ▹Several years of professional experience in information or automation technology, ideally in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- ▹Sound knowledge of IT, programming, Windows Server, databases, networking and security
- ▹Basic knowledge of the GMP environment (qualification, validation, change control, GAMP 5)
- ▹Quality-conscious, independent, structured and systematic way of working
- ▹Convincing presence and strong communication and teamwork skills
- ▹Completed university degree (Bachelor / Master / Diplom) in information technology, electrical engineering, automation engineering or a comparable field
Nice to have
- ▹Experience supporting plant data information systems from the manufacturer AspenTech
- ▹General knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
