Responsibilities

• ▹Develop new features for the air surveillance and air command and control system
• ▹Improve existing solutions and integrate them into a complex system with many interfaces
• ▹Work with experienced colleagues and keep a continuous dialogue with the customer and operators on priorities and release content
• ▹Build reliable, robust and secure solutions in a real-time, mission-critical environment
• ▹Produce design studies and specifications

Requirements

• ▹Several years of professional software development experience
• ▹Good skills in several programming languages (e.g. Rust, Ada, C/C++, Java)
• ▹Good understanding of data structures, operating systems and system-level software development
• ▹Development experience on Linux
• ▹Good Swedish and English, spoken and written
• ▹Must pass security vetting under the regulations in force; security-classified positions may require a certain citizenship
• ▹Degree in engineering in computer science, engineering physics or a related field (university or college)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience developing complex societally critical or flight-safety-critical systems
• ▹Experience in defence, transport or telecom development
• ▹Integration on Linux (Bash, installation packages, networking)
• ▹Design studies and specifications
• ▹Tactical data links, flight plan systems or radar systems
