Responsibilities

• ▹Develop new functionality and improve existing systems built on Java EE/Jakarta EE together with the team
• ▹Work on integrations with other authorities in the justice system and handle large volumes of data
• ▹Work agilely with Scrum alongside business specialists, solution architects and developers at other agencies
• ▹Cover the full lifecycle: new development, further development and maintenance
• ▹Join workshops with the business on new needs and fix production bugs

Requirements

• ▹Systems science or similar academic degree, or other education/experience that Brå considers equivalent
• ▹At least 5 years of professional experience in systems development with Java EE and Jakarta EE
• ▹Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB or Oracle
• ▹Experience with agile development and methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• ▹Good written and spoken Swedish
• ▹Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• ▹Development experience in statistics and the justice system
• ▹Microservices, integrations and frontend development with JavaScript, React or Angular
• ▹Knowledge of frameworks for presenting statistics
• ▹Knowledge of Linux, git, CI pipelines and open source components
• ▹Experience with application servers such as JBoss
• ▹Experience with container-based application platforms such as Kubernetes, and an understanding of how application architecture, deployment and platform interact
• ▹Java or Scrum certification
