Responsibilities

• ▹Operate, monitor and develop database environments (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle and MySQL)
• ▹Performance optimisation, patching, upgrades, installations and backup management
• ▹Troubleshooting and lifecycle management of databases and data services
• ▹Actively take part in developing new services together with developers and system owners

Requirements

• ▹Post-secondary education in IT, or equivalent work experience
• ▹Several years of current experience as a database administrator in complex environments
• ▹Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (stored procedures, triggers, jobs), Linux and scripting (JavaScript, Linux scripts)
• ▹Good ability to document and communicate in Swedish and English
• ▹Swedish citizenship
• ▹Security vetting before employment (registry check, security interview, drug test)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience of regulated IT environments
• ▹Experience of large, mission-critical databases
• ▹Programming skills in, for example, C#, C/C++, Centura, Python or ASP.NET
