Technical Backoffice Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹support the service department with technical and IT-related questions
• ▹prepare, configure, customize and repair technical systems and hardware
• ▹set up and administer PCs and system software according to international guidelines
• ▹analyze, process and resolve IT issues before, during and after customer installations
• ▹provide remote support for customers and service technicians across Europe
• ▹support fault analysis in customer environments and escalation management for network and IT issues
• ▹contribute to the development and implementation of innovative IT solutions
• ▹develop internal software and database solutions to optimize service processes

Requirements

• ▹completed technical or IT vocational training, or a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field
• ▹good knowledge of hardware and software as well as IT systems
• ▹initial experience in technical support, service or helpdesk environments
• ▹understanding of networks, operating systems and technical troubleshooting
• ▹customer-oriented way of working
• ▹good spoken and written German and English
• ▹confident use of MS Office and common system applications
