Staff Product Manager, Agentic & AI Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Expand and improve the AI gateway, including safeguards, evals, cost and observability
• ▹Build the agentic layer and Photoroom's MCP: visual agents that run multi-step flows (generate, QA, route, retry, publish) unattended and at catalog scale
• ▹Define the problem before the solution, partnering with engineering and research
• ▹Treat other teams as customers: prioritise across them, hold a strategy and say no with reasons
• ▹Turn new model capabilities into shipped features and reusable primitives together with researchers and engineers
• ▹Pull and interpret data yourself (adoption, latency, inference cost per successful generation, eval results) to decide what is next

Requirements

• ▹10+ years as a PM, with multiple launches that solved user problems and delivered business outcomes
• ▹Experience building platform, infrastructure or developer-facing products (APIs, SDKs, internal platforms, ML infrastructure)
• ▹Shipped something agentic or model-backed into production
• ▹Understanding of evals, guardrails, non-deterministic output and cost per call
• ▹Demonstrable product taste and the ability to explain the calls you made
• ▹Able to pull, interpret and challenge data yourself
• ▹Able to thrive in small teams with high autonomy in a remote, async-first environment
