AI Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Further develop paddy's agent architecture
• ▹Run AI in production with evals, guardrails and AI observability to control quality, cost and latency
• ▹Build features completely, from the Next.js backend (API-first) through data model and infrastructure to the UI
• ▹Talk to teachers, tell real needs from feature requests and decide with Product and Design
• ▹Treat testing, CI/CD, monitoring and clean architecture as a foundation and spot technical risks early

Requirements

• ▹At least three years of experience building and operating modern web applications with TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js and React in a product team with real users
• ▹Built and run LLM-based features or agentic systems in production; understands context windows, model failure modes, RAG and vector databases
• ▹Solid in API design, databases (SQL, NoSQL and vector), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD
• ▹Not a narrow specialist; strongest focus may be backend and architecture
• ▹Copes with underspecified problems and takes ownership
• ▹Uses coding agents and modern AI tools as a matter of course
