Senior Project Manager for Digital Public Administration Projects - Migration and Interior

Responsibilities

• ▹Deliver demanding IT and digitalization projects with a focus on migration and interior affairs, agile or hybrid
• ▹Take responsibility for projects over their entire duration and steer scope, time, budget, quality and risks
• ▹Work with interdisciplinary project teams across technology contexts, from digital administrative services and specialist applications to content and form management systems and custom IT solutions
• ▹Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and work closely with public administration customers
• ▹Translate customer requirements into viable IT solutions and digital processes, from concept to go-live
• ▹Support customers with digital transformation questions and identify potential for developing existing projects further

Requirements

• ▹Several years of project management experience in development or digitalization projects, steering projects independently end to end
• ▹Experience steering interdisciplinary project teams and taking responsibility for scope, budget, time, quality and risks
• ▹Experience working with external customers and understanding project management as a customer-oriented delivery role
• ▹Confident communication at different levels of the project organization
• ▹Confident with agile and/or classic project methods
• ▹Completed university degree
• ▹Very good German and English, written and spoken

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in public administration digitalization projects and/or domain knowledge in migration and interior affairs
• ▹Experience with scaled agile approaches or hybrid project set-ups
• ▹Relevant project management or agile certification, for example PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum PSM/PSPO
