Doctolib is looking for an Engineering Director to lead its Patient Health Companion organization, a key initiative transforming Doctolib into a daily health companion that lets everyone manage their health proactively. You will oversee 4 engineering teams and their managers - including the flagship Health Companion for Parents - building and scaling teams that create AI-powered, personalized healthcare experiences relied on by millions.

- ▹Build and scale a world-class engineering organization, mentoring engineering managers and staff engineers across multiple domains
- ▹Drive the technical vision and strategy for the Patient Health Companions, aligned with Doctolib's mission and product goals
- ▹Lead the development of AI-powered chat support, sophisticated recommendation systems and intuitive mobile interfaces
- ▹Establish engineering practices and architecture that enable rapid experimentation while maintaining quality, security and scalability
- ▹Partner with product, design and healthcare professionals to address real health needs with great user experiences
- ▹Define and execute acquisition and growth strategies to reach millions of users across Europe
Requirements
- ▹5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing managers and staff engineers across diverse domains
- ▹Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain exceptional engineering talent
- ▹Strong foundation in software engineering, distributed systems and architecture across mobile and backend systems
- ▹Ability to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps and align engineering with company strategy
- ▹Genuine interest in healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes through technology
- ▹Track record of scaling engineering organizations while maintaining culture and quality
Nice to have
- ▹Experience building consumer health products or working in healthcare technology
- ▹Background in AI/ML systems, recommendation engines or content platforms
