Senior Full-Stack Engineer - AI Cost Visibility

Responsibilities

• ▹Own features end-to-end: from understanding the customer's pain through design and implementation to release, monitoring and iteration, defining what done looks like and owning the outcome (reliability, user experience, measurable impact)
• ▹Know the product and the domain: understand how AI spend works (token and model pricing, inference and GPU economics, how usage rolls up to teams and initiatives) and how FinOps practitioners reason about it
• ▹Work AI-augmented daily across the full span of work: exploring the codebase and unfamiliar vendor APIs, prototyping, generating and reviewing code, debugging, writing tests and producing documentation
• ▹Full-stack delivery: design, build and scale backend services in Go and product experiences in TypeScript and React; turn large volumes of cost and usage data into interfaces trustworthy enough to base financial decisions on
• ▹API-first: make capabilities fully available through APIs so both humans and agents can drive the platform
• ▹Raise the bar: thoughtful design reviews, guard-rails that let customers succeed, engineering practices that let the team move fast without breaking trust; mentor peers

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including multi-tenant SaaS products, with a track record of owning features or products end-to-end in production
• ▹Strong Go for backend services: APIs, data processing and the operational realities of running them
• ▹Strong TypeScript and modern React, with a good eye for how data should be presented
• ▹Comfortable across the stack: may lean backend or frontend, but can own a feature from the data model through to the interface
• ▹Experience building on public cloud (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure) and working proficiency in SQL against an analytical store such as BigQuery
• ▹Product-oriented thinking: cares as much about why something is built and whether it works for users as about how
• ▹AI-augmented working style: already uses AI tools across the engineering workflow and can talk concretely about what they gave and where they fell short
• ▹Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns and architectural principles, and the ability to set direction for others
• ▹Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving market: can figure out the right problem to solve, not just the right solution
• ▹Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• ▹Remote work as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden or Israel; contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal are also considered

• ▹Knowledge of FinOps and FinOps products
• ▹BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• ▹A portfolio of what you have built in your career so far
