Information Security / IT Security Consultant

Responsibilities

• ▹Contribute to and independently run gap analyses and workshops in information security projects
• ▹Independently handle work packages with guidance from experienced colleagues
• ▹Research and prepare standards, norms and regulations, e.g. ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 42001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, DORA or the AI Act
• ▹Prepare, run and follow up on client meetings and workshops
• ▹Create guidelines, concepts and analyses for introducing and developing information security, BCM or AI governance management systems
• ▹Prepare findings and recommendations in client documents and presentations
• ▹Present results to the project team and to clients

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, economics, law or a comparable qualification
• ▹Basic understanding of information security and interest in standards, norms and regulation
• ▹Structured, careful working style and the ability to present complex matters clearly

Nice to have

• ▹Initial exposure to ISO/IEC 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, DORA or TISAX
• ▹Internship, working-student experience or thesis in information security, IT consulting, audit or compliance
• ▹Initial certifications or training in information security
• ▹Basic knowledge of project management, classic or agile
