Solution Architect role at the Amsterdam mental healthcare organization GGZ inGeest, responsible for reliable, secure, and well-integrated information systems that help care professionals. The architect is the link between strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Draw up concrete solution designs (blueprints) for new projects and changes, focused on the care application landscape and IT environment
  • ▹Be involved in initiatives from the start, analyze information needs, and set the frameworks within which developers and suppliers build the solution
  • ▹Direct the application landscape: keep systems such as the EHR, e-health modules, and Office 365 logically, securely, and efficiently connected
  • ▹Translate abstract goals (such as cloud-first or security-by-design) into practical guidelines and building blocks that project teams can apply
  • ▹Advise management and project managers, solicited and unsolicited, on technology choices, the impact of new software, and the feasibility of innovations
  • ▹Liaise with management, suppliers, and internal stakeholders so the designs solve real-world bottlenecks

Requirements

  • ▹University-level (WO) working and thinking level, preferably in Business Informatics
  • ▹Experience with architecture methods such as TOGAF or similar frameworks
  • ▹Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft, and (healthcare) applications
  • ▹Insight into business processes and their translation into information and ICT architectures
  • ▹Good communication skills and the ability to build support across different layers of the organization
  • ▹Proactive attitude: spotting opportunities and advising
