Responsibilities

• ▹Design and define end-to-end enterprise data architectures aligned with business objectives and technology strategies
• ▹Develop target-state architectures, data platform roadmaps and modernization strategies
• ▹Lead architectural design activities across cloud-based data ecosystems, including data lakes, data warehouses, analytics platforms and integration solutions
• ▹Establish data modeling standards, architectural principles and best practices to ensure scalability, security and maintainability
• ▹Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Product Owners and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions
• ▹Drive data governance, metadata management, data quality and compliance initiatives
• ▹Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms and architectural patterns based on business and technical requirements
• ▹Support the successful delivery of data transformation programs and enterprise-wide data initiatives
• ▹Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle
• ▹Create and maintain architecture documentation, including conceptual, logical and physical data models, architectural diagrams, standards and design principles

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Architecture or related fields
• ▹Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data architectures and modern data platforms
• ▹Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, integration patterns and governance frameworks
• ▹Strong practical knowledge of at least one major cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS or GCP
• ▹Experience with one or more modern data platforms and technologies, such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse or comparable solutions
• ▹Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT frameworks, and batch or real-time data processing patterns
• ▹Understanding of security, privacy, compliance and data governance best practices
• ▹Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• ▹Fluent English communication skills
• ▹Based in Hungary and eligible to work in Hungary
